ASHLEY AND CREMATE
Ashley and CreMate is project submitted for the competition 'Roulette'. The video produced is a satirical marketing video aimed at corrupt corporations with two products that would assist in covering up crimes and misdeeds. It acts as a commentary on what some companies will do for power and monetary gains.

Research
Much of the research for this project was on the style of advertising from tech companies such as Apple and Google. They have been named in a large range of lawsuits, as well as both in a scandal regarding child cobalt mining deaths. This made them ideal to become a focus of the video, although never actually mentioned to maintain an element of humour.

The aesthetic of Apple advertisements is clean, minimalist, with frequent use of two tone text sequences. This is something maintained within the Ashley and CreMate video, as well as an animation for the AI which took strong influence from Siri.

The development of this project was extensive and continued to the very end of the project. There were several script changes, as well as changes to the AI voiceover to ensure the viewer would create as much association with Apple and Google as possible without mentioning them by name.
