The research for this project was vast, exploring a range of existing cider brands and the aesthetic of conceptional drink brands on Behance. It was just as important to look into what these brands didn't feature in order to refresh cider in the way the brief calls for.

My idea for the brand is to combine two styles typically not seen in cider packaging: minimalism and grunge. The benefits of this will be appealing to a younger audience, as well as standing out on a supermarket shelf. Aesthetically appealing alcoholic drink typically find themselves frequently posted on social media, as seen with ‘White Claw’ seltzers. The packaging I designed aims to do the same, resulting in free digital marketing.
